Business Solutions

Traditionally, Carollo has provided environmental engineering services with a specific focus in the planning, design, and construction of water and wastewater facilities. As part of being a full-service consultant, we also have a business consulting practice to assist our clients in the areas of our general business consulting, strategy, financial planning, asset management, economics, accounting, information management and integration, climatology, and energy conservation, to name a few.

The Business Solutions Group (BSG) is comprised of Carollo personnel who work with utility managers to effectively administer its business operations by identifying creative solutions to evolving challenges. From strategic and financial planning to leadership development, BSG provides a broad array of innovative services to the public utility sector. As a leading environmental engineering and consulting firm focused in the utility market, our experts understand the unique “hurdles” that face agencies. It is important for utilities to continue to provide creative technical solutions; however, these solutions must be executed within the context of sound, innovative business practices to be successful in the competitive and results-driven modern utility market.

California Clean Water State Revolving Fund

Carollo has been assisting clients with conceptualizing, planning, designing, and delivering a multitude of projects. Each step requires a funding source and Carollo’s BSG works hand in hand with clients, engineering staff, and public and private agencies to assist with the identification and securing of public and private loans. Client projects that have coordinated with Carollo’s BSG, construction management, and/or engineering service branches are now highlighted on the California State Water Resources Control Board’s Clean Water State Revolving Fund Loan informational brochure. The projects are being highlighted as examples of the diversity of public loan usage and coordination between the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act.
