Carollo's Microconstituent Community of Practice Group wants to scare the heck out of you

With recent improvements in laboratory techniques, we can now "see" trace levels of everyday compounds such as pesticides, pharmaceuticals, hormones, and personal care products such a fragrances in treated wastewater and drinking water. There are many buzzwords used to describe these compounds, including microconstituents, pharmaceuticals and personal care products (PPCPs), contaminants of emerging concern (CECs), and endocrine disrupting compounds (EDCs), to name a few.

Carollo's Microconstituent COP was formed by Steve Swanback (Walnut Creek Office) to update each other and folks across the company on the topics of research, treatment technologies, regulation, and related Carollo projects. Our goal is to stay ahead of this issue and support company project needs. We are developing a Carollo Statement of Qualifications that will provide a summary of Carollo's research and project experience and expertise on the subject of microconstituents.
