Sporting an acronym only an engineer could love, the "BAB2E" just added the City of Santa Rosa to its 16-member coalition, and San Jose will soon be joining them.

Carollo is the lead consultant helping BAB2E to achieve their goal of implementing a regional biosolids to energy facility or facilities. The goal was bolstered recently by state and federal legislation that provided a $1 million grant to construct a pilot facility.

Check out the BAB2E website to see if your favorite Bay Area municipality is taking part.
